A vital part of the Red Zone Cats programme is the monitoring and identifying of cats using video surveillance.
Our cameras, set up and regularly moved around the feeding stations, take stills and video footage of cats in both daylight, and – using infra-red – at night-time.
This process enables us to identify members
of the Red Zone cat population, monitor their movements and target them for trapping.
We also use the photos and footage to match cats that have been listed or advertised as missing – and get them back to their owners.
These images show the feeding stations we have established in the Red Zone – take a look if you’d like to see how your support can help. TO VIEW PDFs CLICK BELOW
