OUR STORY
Tiffan and her brothers were born in the Christ Church Cathedral. The boys have been adopted together and Tiffan has formed a close bond with her shelter friend Angus.
Angus was trapped in Horseshoe Lake Reserve as a young adult cat and was very fearful at first, both of people and other cats. However, once we accommodated him with Tiffan and other kittens from the Red Zone and Cathedral Angus made good progress. Tiffan in particular gave him courage and they soon started to share a bed.
Tiffan is a very energetic and playful teenager who is used to charging around our big office and loves climbing. When she comes to rest she likes to be made a fuss of and can be picked up for a cuddle once she has got to know you. Tiffan closely resembles the original cathedral mother cat Maxi who is her grandmother. Maxi used to climb high up on the damaged parts of the cathedral.
Angus is a little shy with new faces but affectionate once he gains confidence. He and Tiffan will benefit from two or three home visits before placement, which help a shy cat to settle. Angus likes a scratch around the ears and being stroked. He is most confident with people when in his crate and we will supply both crate and pod while Angus and Tiffan are settling in.
